Tokenised Carbon Removals for a Greener Future.

MAKING A MEANINGFUL IMPACT

By  investing  in  Carbon  Credits you will  be helping  to  fund  initiatives  that improve  the  lives  and livelihoods of people and ecosystems worldwide.

JustCarbons Climate  projects  support  the advancement  of multiple  UN Sustainable  Development Goals. Along with climate action, most climate projects include  initiatives  that  conserve  wildlife,  improve infrastructure,  create  jobs,  promote  gender  equality, and make other positive impacts in their region.

JustCarbons vision  is  to  make  the  biggest environmental  impact  by  creating  or  finding  the  best carbon  credits  and  making  them  easily  accessible  to everyone via blockchain technology.

  • Tokenisation for Traceability, Transparency and Trust - Trust is in assets is a critical pain-point  in the carbon markets. To face this challenge, JustCarbon has leveraged Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) to tokenise its credit portfolio. The tokenisation of credits through DLT guarantees transparency and traceability across the lifecycle of the credit giving our customers unquestionable  trust in our assets. .

JustCarbon Removal tokens represent 1 tonne of CO2 removed from the atmosphere

    • All offsets are recorded on the blockchain, making them transparent, accessible and traceable at all times.

    • Certified by the world’s top certification standards; Gold Standard or Verra. All credits are from the last 5 years, meaning they are verified using up-to-date methods.

    • Once purchased, you will receive a certificate confirming your offset, including the blockchain transaction link that allows you to track and prove your offsetting activity.

  • The carbon markets are complex and nuanced. Each carbon credit is unique, and each methodology emphasises different areas of impact. JustCarbon assesses the integrity and value of credits within our portfolio against the following core factors:

Additionality – Whether the carbon reductions or removals generated by the project would have occurred without the project.

    • Permanence – The likelihood that the removed carbon could ever re-enter the atmosphere.

    • Quantification, Verification and MRV - The robustness of

the project’s methods for quantifying emissions reductions and removals, and how rigorously these numbers are verified through Monitoring Reporting and Verification data

    • Co-benefits - refer to additional positive impacts of the project beyond carbon reduction, such as biodiversity protection, poverty alleviation, or contributions to the

    UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

    • Delivery Risk - The likelihood that a carbon credit project will fail to deliver the promised emissions reductions or removals within the expected time frame or

    at the anticipated scale.

  • We work with the top ratings and verification agencies, project auditors and standards in the industry to provide water-tight quality assurance.

Alongside partnering with Puro.Earth, Gold Standard and Verra to source projects with best-in-class methodologies, we screen all of the credits that we create or sell, with the platform from AlliedOffsets.

AlliedOffsets offers tailored data and reporting on relevant credits, featuring regular updates including developer details, delivery, capacity and market trends.

The data we pull from AlliedOffsets supports our own analysis and enables us to assess the risk of projects against different critical risk factors which affect the quality of credits issued by the project, including:
